1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and PAIXAI ONE ("we", "us") about using Khinoa Mail (the "app"). You accept them by ticking the box in the app that says you agree. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
2. Who we are
PAIXAI ONE, a sole proprietorship based in IN. Email: support@paixaione.space.
3. Who can use the app
You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding agreement. If we learn that someone younger is using the app, we will ask them to stop using it.
4. Your email accounts
- You add your own email accounts to the app. You must only add accounts you own or are allowed to use.
- Your email provider's own terms still apply to your account. Keep your Windows account and your email passwords secure; you are responsible for what is done with your accounts.
- The app acts on your instructions: when you send, schedule, move, archive, snooze or delete an email, it does that in your mailbox. Check before you act. Deleted or moved email may not be recoverable.
- A Khinoa account is optional. If you create one, use an email address you own, keep its password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You can delete it at any time in Settings → Pro → Account. We may suspend a Khinoa account that is used to break these Terms.
- Scheduled emails are sent by the app on your PC. If the PC is off or offline at the scheduled time, the email goes out when the app next can.
5. The app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on computers you own or control. The app doesn't currently include any paid features. We may change, add or remove features, or stop offering the app. We don't promise that the app will always work, be available or be free of errors, and new features may be marked as early versions.
Khinoa SI
Khinoa SI is an optional assistant. On device (the default) it runs on your computer, using an open AI model that you choose to download (Qwen3.5 by the Qwen team at Alibaba Cloud, licensed under Apache 2.0). With Khinoa Pro you can choose off device instead: it then answers with DeepSeek through Khinoa's server, as the Privacy Policy explains, with a daily limit, and only while the service is available. Its answers, summaries and drafts are generated by AI: they can be wrong, incomplete or out of date (answers to general questions come from what the model learned up to a point in time, not from the web), and they aren't legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Check them before you rely on them or send anything. Khinoa SI sends, forwards and changes email only when you ask it to, as Settings → Khinoa SI → Sending allows (by default, each email and change waits for you to press Send or Approve). Emails it sends go from your account, as if you sent them: you're responsible for what you ask it to send and what you approve, so check its emails before they go. Running a model uses your computer's memory, processor and graphics card, and can slow it down while it works. Khinoa SI is an early version (Beta).
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to:
- send spam, scams, phishing, malware or illegal content, or harass, threaten or impersonate anyone;
- get into email accounts you aren't allowed to use, or break your email provider's terms;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except as the law expressly allows, or remove its notices;
- get around its security, or interfere with the services it connects to;
- use Khinoa SI to create content that is illegal, deceptive or harmful, or that pretends to come from someone else.
7. Your content
Your emails and attachments belong to you (or to whoever owns them). We don't keep them and claim no rights in them (Khinoa SI off device passes the ones it reads to DeepSeek to answer you, if you choose it). The app stores and processes them on your computer only to show, organise and send your email, as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Our rights
We own the app, its design and the Khinoa Mail and PAIXAI ONE names and logos. These terms don't give you any rights in them except the licence in section 5. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
9. Other services and open-source software
The app works with services we don't control, such as your email provider, Google and Microsoft. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for them. The app includes open-source software used under its own licences, listed in Open-source licenses.
10. Stopping
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it (choose Clean uninstall to remove everything it saved). We may end your licence if you seriously break these terms. Sections 7 to 15 continue to apply after that.
11. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, email, profits or business, and our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and if you are a consumer you keep the rights your local law gives you.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, but if you are a consumer you keep the protection of the laws, and the right to use the courts, of the place where you live. If you have a problem, please contact us first and give us 30 days to try to solve it.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update their version and date, and the app will ask you to agree again the next time you open it. If you don't agree, stop using the app.
15. General
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we don't lose it. You may not transfer these terms; we may transfer them to whoever takes over the app. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
